According to the announcement of the Presidency and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the minimum wage for 2023 in Turkey was announced as 10.088 ₺ gross and 8.506,80 ₺ net.

The Cost of the Minimum Wage to the Employer in Turkey

The cost of employers arises when the insurance premiums for which the employer is responsible for that worker are calculated and included in addition to the worker’s gross wage. In other words, the cost of a minimum wage to the employer is not only the gross minimum wage. It should be calculated to cover the insurance premiums to be paid by the employer for the relevant employee.
